James Perloff, the Council on Foreign Relations, and 9/11

by Lex Fisher

Most Americans think they are participating in a representative government, where their interests and concerns are channeled upward toward elected officials who then proceed to stand up for those views on their behalf.  Unfortunately for us Americans, what has happened for more than a hundred years is that organizations with no official relationship to our government have exerted an invisible influence over this process.

The two main types of organizations that interfere with democracy in this way are corporations and a small group of tax-exempt foundations.  The manner in which corporations have swayed governments toward malign ends is a popular topic; an analysis I would highly recommend is Episode 238 of the The Corbett Report, and I hope to explore this topic in more detail in the future.  The influence of tax-exempt organizations is a much more complex and secretive matter.  It undoubtedly deserves our attention, however, as the majority of American presidents, CIA directors, and presidential cabinet members have been affiliated with these powerful groups.

Norman Dodd discovered the power of these types of groups in the 1950’s.  Dodd lived from 1899 to 1987, and was most known for serving as the Chief Investigator in 1953 for US Congressman B. Carroll Reece Special Committee on Tax Exempt Foundations, which according to Wikipedia is most commonly referred to as the Reece Committee.  Wikipedia’s profile on Norman Dodd mentions the following:

“In the Dodd report to the Reece Committee on Foundations, he began with a definition of “subversive”, saying that the term referred to “Any action having as its purpose the alteration of either the principle or the form of the United States Government by other than constitutional means.” He then proceeded to show that the Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, and Carnegie Endowment were using funds excessively on projects at Columbia, Harvard, Chicago University and the University of California, in order to enable oligarchical collectivism.  He stated, “The purported deterioration in scholarship and in the techniques of teaching which, lately, has attracted the attention of the American public, has apparently been caused primarily by a premature effort to reduce our meager knowledge of social phenomena to the level of an applied science.””

Dodd was interviewed by G. Edward Griffin in 1982.  The interview can be found on Youtube and was brought to my attention via The Corbett Report.  In the interview, Dodd explains what he discovered in the the minutes of the Carnegie Foundation:

“We are now at the year 1908, which is the year that Carnegie began operations.  And in that year, the trustees, meeting for the first time, raised a specific question which they discussed throughout the balance of the year, in a very learned fashion, and the question is: ‘Is there any means known more effective than war, assuming you wish to alter the life of an entire people.’  And they conclude that ‘No more effective means than war to that end is known to humanity.’  So then, in 1909, they raised a second question and discussed it, namely: ‘How do we involve the United States in a war?’  Well I doubt at that time if there was any subject more removed from the thinking of most of the people in this country, that its involvement in a war – there were intermittent shows in the Balkans, but I doubt very much if many people even knew where the Balkans was.  And finally, they answered that question as follows:  ‘We must control the State Department.’  And then that very naturally raises the question of ‘How do we do that.’  And they answer it by saying, ‘We must take over it and control the diplomatic machinery of this country.’  And finally, they resolve to aim at that as an objective.  Then, time passes, and we are eventually in a war, which had been World War I.  And at that time, they record on their minutes, a shocking report in which they dispatched to President Wilson a telegram cautioning him to see that the war does not end too quickly.”

In a lecture by author and John Birch Society member James Perloff which can be found on Youtube , Perloff thoroughly documents the history of perhaps the most powerful of the globalist tax-exempt organizations, the Council on Foreign Relations.  The author opens his lecture by discussing six American wars “based on (a) false or to put it kindly a mistaken pretext.”

World War I started when a German U-boat sunk a British Passenger ship called the Lucitania in 1915.  Perloff shows a communication between British Foreign Minister Sir Edward Grey, and President Woodrow Wilson’s top advisor, Edward Mandel House.  in the communication, Grey asked House prior to the sinking of the Lucitania what would happen if the Germans sunk a British passenger ship, and House replied, “I believe that a flame of indignation would sweep the United States and that by itself would be sufficient to carry us into the war.”  Perloff shows a quote from US Commander Joseph Kenworthy, who says “The Lusitania was deliberately sent at considerably reduced speed into an area where a U-boat was known to be waiting and with her escorts withdrawn.”

The Spanish War occurred in 1898 and was the result of the sinking of the battleship USS Maine.  Perloff says The Discovery Channel conducted experiments using a ship that had the same construction as the the USS Maine.  The experiments showed that the explosions on the Maine had to have been detonated from the inside of the ship, and could not have been the result of an attack by the Spanish.

America’s entry into World War II was caused by an apparent surprise attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.  Perloff showed a message from a Japanese admiral to the Japanese fleet that had been decoded by the American military, which demonstrates that top US officials well aware the Japanese were about to strike, but intentionally chose not to share that information with the Pearl Harbor base.

History books say that in 1950, the Korean War started when North Korean Dictator Kim Il-sung invaded South Korea.  Perloff explained that during World War II, Joseph Stalin’s Russia was our ally against Germany, and that after the war, the United States gave him control over North Korea.  Perloff asserts that the strategy was to knowingly put a volatile leader in charge of North Korea, whose actions would later send us into war.

The Vietnam War started in 1964 as the result of an alleged torpedo attack on the US Navy in the Gulf of Tonkin.  Perloff says a book written by Admiral James Stockdale recounts that Navy officers humorously pretended that they were coming under attack by torpedoes, and joked about it the following day.  That next day, Stockdale was woken up and told to prepare to attack “the beach” because of the previous day’s attack, the one which really never happened.

Perloff recounts that the American invasion of Iraq in 2003 was partially justified by General Colin Powell’s presentation to the UN regarding intelligence showing that Saddam Hussein possessed dangerous ‘weapons of mass destruction.’  Colin Powell later admitted that his earlier claim had been based on faulty intelligence, at which point, Perloff observes, the Bush administration’s speeches began to focus less on WMD’s and more on our purpose of bringing freedom and democracy to the Iraqi people.

The author also discusses the tendency among American activists and hippies in the 1970’s to rant against what they called the American ‘establishment.’  Perloff quotes Kermit Roosevelt:

“The word ‘Establishment’ is a general term for the power elite in international finance, business, and government, who wield most of the power regardless of who is in the White House.  Most people are unaware of the existence of this ‘legitimate mafia.’  Yet the power of the Establishment makes itself felt from the professor who seeks a foundation grant, to the candidate for a cabinet post or State Department job.  It affects the nation’s policies in almost every area.”

According to Perloff, although the people technically put candidates in office by voting for them, it’s the establishment who really controls things by determining who even gets the nominations.

Perloff uses President Jimmy Carter as an example of this dynamic.  7 months prior to the Democratic National Convention, less than 4% of Americans knew who Carter was.  He was invited to the estate of David Rockefeller, along with Zbigniew Brzezinski, whom Carter later made his national security advisor.  Perloff quotes a Barry Goldwater book, where Goldwater recounted:

“David Rockefeller and Zbigniew Brzezinski found Jimmy Carter to be their ideal candidate.  They helped him win the nomination and the presidency.  To accomplish this purpose, they mobilized the power of the Wall Street bankers and the media controllers.”

Not coincidentally, by election time, Carter was on the cover of Time Magazine three times, on the cover of Newsweek twice, he had been written about multiple times in The New York Times, a Wall Street Journal editorial said that Carter would make the best candidate for president, and, Perloff says, all of the major television network had inundated people with images of Carter.  Perloff asks rhetorically if Carter was elected because he was “picked in a high place, packaged, and sold to the American public?”

Behind every event Perloff has mentioned thus far lies the quiet yet powerful control of the shadow-government organization to which most current top governmental officials are a member of: the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).

Perloff quotes US Navy Admiral Chester Ward, who was invited into the CFR and was shocked what he found:

“The main purpose of the Council on Foreign Relations is promoting the disarmament of US sovereignity and national independence, and submergence into an all powerful one world government.”

As an example, Perloff mentions the formation of the European Union.  He says members of the EU created a single currency (the Euro), and talk about military consolidation, a European Pentagon, a European constitution, and the use of Europe as a model for regional consolidation.  Perloff says the same thing is planned for North America.

Perloff says he went through every issue of the CFR’s journal, Foreign Affairs, since 1922, and found many calls for a world government, such as Phillip Kerr’s in 1922:

“Obviously there is going to be no peace or prosperity for mankind so long as it remains divided into fifty or sixty independent states… the real problem today is that of world government.”

According to Perloff, CFR members often throw around the term prosperity, and sometimes they overtly declare that it will be the result of a one-world government.  A main concern is that in a single governmental system, there are no checks and balances to keep governmental power from getting out of hand.  Perloff illustrates the danger of this potential concentration of power by wondering how it would look if its leader was Saddam Hussein.

Perloff quotes James Madison, who said, “The accumulation of all power in the same hands may be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.”

Although the CFR wasn’t officially founded until 1921, Perloff talks about one of the most significant activities of the same network of individuals who would later go on to start the CFR, the undercover creation of the Federal Reserve Bank.

Perloff reports that although inflation is often assumed to be a fundamental characteristic of the modern economic system, there was actually zero inflation for the first 250 years of US history.  Our rampant inflation coincided with the start of the Federal Reserve Bank, and spikes each time there’s a major war.

Although history books name Senator Nelson Aldrich as the writer of the legislation which founded the Federal Reserve Bank, Perloff explains that Aldrich didn’t write a word of it.  Instead, the legislation was written “At a secret meeting of the world’s most powerful bankers at J.P. Morgan’s hunting club on Jekyll Island off the coast of Georgia.  They were representatives of the three major banking houses, which were the Rockefeller house, the J.P. Morgan House, and the European Rothschild group.  The actual writers were D.C. Forbes, the founder of Forbes Magazine, and Frank Vanderlipp.  Perloff quotes Vanderlipp and shows that he was well aware of the dark nature of their collaboration:

“There was an occasion near the close of 1910 when I was as secretive, indeed as furtive, as any conspirator.  I do not feel it is any exaggeration to speak of our secret expedition to Jekyll Island as the occasion of the actual conception of the Federal Reserve System.  We were told to leave our last names behind us.  We were told further that we should avoid dining together on the night of our departure.  We were instructed to come one at a time and as unobtrusively as possible to the terminal of the New Jersey littoral of the Hudson, where Senator Aldrich’s private car would be in readiness, attached to the rear end of the train for the South.  Once aboard the car, we began to observe the taboo that had been fixed on last names.  Discovery, we knew, simply must not happen.  If it were to be discovered that our particular group had got together and written a banking bill, that bill would have no chance whatsoever of passage by Congress.”

Perloff explains that in 1902, the Rothschilds had sent banker Paul Warburg to the US to create a central bank in the US similar to one that had already existed in Europe at the time.  The Rothschild partnerships with the Rockefellers and Morgans dated back to when the Rothschilds had provided the original seed money for Rockefeller’s Standard Oil fortune.    In 1907, J.P. Morgan created a rumor about some major rival banks, which created a situation where virtually all of their customers simultaneously demanded their deposits back.  This became known as ‘The Panic of 1907.’  Then Morgan & Rockefeller’s newspapers, as well as Senator Aldridge, began telling the public that we needed a central bank to prevent such a catastrophe (which they themselves had created) from ever happening again.

Sound familiar?  For those who may have answered no, I’m referring to the belief by some that 9/11 was orchestrated from the inside for the purpose of aligning the American public behind the purpose of never letting something like that happen again.

Who do you suppose, asks Perloff, President Woodrow Wilson appointed as Vice Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank, other than Paul Warburg himself.  Perloff explains, “The very guys who devised the Federal Reserve Act are now given control of the system, in other words, the coyotes are now in charge of the henhouse.”

Perloff quotes Congressman Charles Lindbergh Sr., who said, regarding the Federal Reserve Act,

“This act establishes the most gigantic trust on earth.  When the President signs this act the invisible government by the money power, proven to exist by the money trust investigation, will be legalized.  The money power overawes the legislative and executive forces of the nation.  I have seen these forces exerted during the different stages of this bill.”

According to Perloff, the following statement from Charles Lindbergh Sr. was pure “political prophesy”:

“From now on depressions will be scientifically created.  The new law will create inflation whenever the trust wants inflation.  If the trust can get a period of inflation, they figure they can unload stocks on the people at high prices during the excitement, and then bring on a panic and buy them back at low prices.  The people may not know it immediately, but the day of reckoning is only a few years removed.”

Perloff says that in its early years the Fed was operated by men like Paul Warburg, J.D. Rockefeller, and Joseph P. Kennedy, whom he says acted on the fringes.  Perloff explains, “These men were all out of the market in 1929,” during the Great Crash of the stock market.  He says that if you had inside knowledge that the Fed was about to jack up interest rates, you could quickly get out of the market.  Perloff quotes Louis McFadden, the chairman of the House Committee on Banking and Currency, who said this about the Crash of 1929:

“It was not accidental.  It was a carefully contrived occurrence.  The international bankers sought to bring about a condition of despair here so that they might emerge as rulers of us all.  When the Federal Reserve Act was passed, the people of these United States did not perceive that a world banking system was being set up here – a superstate controlled by International bankers acting together for their own pleasure.”

It is largely believed throughout the alternative information community that this type of manipulation of current events followed by trading based on that inside information still goes on today, albeit in more advanced forms.  For example, Professor Michel Chossudovsky says that in many instances, large financial institutions used speculation to devalue the currencies of national economies, while at the same time betting in the stock market against the currencies of those countries.  He cites Korea, Thailand and Indonesia in the late ’90’s, and asserts that powerful financial institutions are currently doing the same to the European and American economies as part of an intentional process of capitalist consolidation and restructuring under the guise of austerity.  (15:50)  It’s amazing how the same few ploys have been employed repeatedly for over a century, and they never seem to get old.

Perloff also goes into detail about how the Federal Reserve Bank works.  He says that the difference between what the American government spends and brings  in is covered by loans from the Federal Reserve Bank, in which the Fed essentially creates money from nothing and then lends it out.  Then the employees of the federal government are paid their salaries, and take those paychecks and deposit them at the major banks.  Since the banks can lend out ten dollars for every one dollar they have on deposit, they can make big profits by lending based on the deposits that were made from money pulled from thin air.  This creation of money from nothing is officially called ‘Monetizing the Debt,’ and is the source of inflation in America.  Perloff explains how retail giants like Wal-Mart and supermarkets then get wrongfully blamed for creating inflation when they raise prices.

Perloff explains the American income tax was created in 1913 to pay the interest on the loans that the American government was taking from the Federal Reserve Bank.  The legislation creating an income tax was introduced by none other than Nelson Aldridge.  At the time the tax was 1% of your income, and Americans were reassured that the rate would never go up.  Perloff explains that the international bankers who designed this system understood the all-important metaphor about ‘boiling a frog,’ which is that if you throw a frog into boiling water, it will be aware of what you’re doing to it and try to jump out; on the other hand, if you place it in lukewarm water and slowly increase the temperature, the frog will have no idea it’s being cooked.  According to Perloff, the income tax was slowly raised to anywhere from 18% to 33%, in the same manner that the governments of the world are slowly being massage toward a single-governmental system.

Perloff paraphrases the Communist Manifesto, by Karl Marx, where Marx laid out 10 steps necessary to create a totalitarian state.  Among these were: a heavy progressive or graduated tax, and centralization of credit in the hands of the state with a national bank and an exclusive monopoly.  Then Perloff quotes article 1, section 8 of the US Constitution, which the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank directly violated: “Congress shall have the power to coin money and regulate the value thereof.”

Perloff explains that at the time of the Jekyll Island meeting, President Taft was opposed to a central bank.  Bernard Baruck, Edward Mandel House, and other bankers picked Woodrow Wilson to replace him.  Wilson at the time was President of Princeton College, but was politically unknown.  First they helped Wilson get elected as the governor of New Jersey in 1911, and then in 1912, with the newspapers behind him, he was elected president.  Wilson picked Bernard Baruch as his economic advisor, and Edward Mandel House was always by his side as the bankers’ frontman.  In 1916, Wilson was re-elected with the campaign slogan ‘He kept us out of war,’ and as soon as he was elected, he moves to get a congressional declaration of war and enter the US into World War II.

Perloff says that the bankers were the decision-makers behind Woodrow Wilson’s presidency, and that their objective was working toward a one-world government under the guise of support for the Versailles Treaty and the creation of a League of Nations.  In my view, this trick is still being used today.  Through fronts such as the World Trade Organization (WTO) or the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), globalists are assembling the legal framework  for countries to function as parts of a larger whole.

In 1919 and 1920, the Senate voted down the Treaty of Versailles.  Perloff says the bankers were in Paris, and they were upset when they found out that the Senate didn’t allow the US to join the League of Nations:

So they held a series of meetings hosted by Edward Mandelhouse culminating with a dinner at the Majestic Hotel in Paris, and at this last dinner, they resolved to form a new organization in the United States, to change the climate of opinion here, to enter the realm of world government.  And that organization, the Council on Foreign Relations, incorporated in New York City, two years later.”

Perloff says that originally, the CFR was composed of bankers and lawyers from JP Morgan, and then professors from colleges indebted to JP Morgan, and other members, were added.

Perloff explains that the main way that the CFR exerts influence over world matters is by supplying cabinet-level personnel to the Presidents of the United States.  Bill Clinton picked 12 advisors from the council; 10 of Obama’s top advisors were from the council; 14 of Hillary Clinton’s top advisors were from the council.  According to Perloff, every Fed chairman and every CIA director in American history has been a CFR member.

Moving away from Perloff’s lecture for a moment, the late Fletcher Prouty was a reference on a strategy called the secret team which in my opinion relates very much to this discussion.  Here is the opening to Wikipedia’s bio on Fletcher Prouty (7/26/2012):

“Leroy Fletcher Prouty (January 24, 1917 – June 5, 2001) served as Chief of Special Operations under President John F. Kennedy. A former colonel in the United States Air Force he retired from military service to become a banker, and subsequently became a critic of U.S. foreign policy, particularly the covert activities of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) about which he had considerable insider knowledge. Fletcher, along with Richard Case Nagell, was the inspiration for the character “Mr. X” in Oliver Stone’s movie JFK.

In JFK, the character modeled after Prouty, Mr. X, explains the process by which the CIA embeds operatives within governmental organizations:

“As Mr. Dulles told me later, he said, ‘I don’t want various people from my agency going into the Pentagon and dealing with people there, and therefore uncovering the activities of the CIA to a large number of people, because obviously such a ring would proliferate to others, and if they want submarines they have to bring in some Navy people, and if they wanted helicopters they’d have to talk to some army people,’ he said, “I want a focal point.  I want an office that cleared to do what we have to have done, an office that knows us very very well, and that office has access to a system within the Pentagon, but the system will not be aware of what initiated the request, they’ll think it came from the Secretary of Defense, they won’t realize it came from the director of Central Intelligence.”  So, you see, the Dulles philosophy was to control the focal point area.  This led them to the creation of focal point offices everywhere, and I established this ‘Tab 6 Organization,’ we called it, in every major staff area that was within the air force, cause that was my jurisdiction at the time, I would have cleared people, another focal point, you might say a sub-focal-point, a person I could go to who have been given ahead of time the authority to do whatever it was that he was authorized to do, and we stressed that authorized business, he would have to be sure he had orders either from my office or directly from the chief of staff, and that we knew what we were doing for CIA.  Well this leads to another step, you might call ‘breeding.’  We had to work with various agencies of the government, not just the defense department, we had to have contact points in the state department, in the FAA, in the customs service, in the treasury, in the FBI, all around through the government, up in the White House, and gradually we wove a network of people who understood the symbols and the code names and the things we were doing, and how we handle money which was the most important thing.  And then we began to assign people there who those agencies thought were from the Defense Department, but they actually were people that we put there from the CIA.  This led to the creation of a system of powerful individuals, people whose jobs were quite dominant in some of these other agencies, especially after they’ve been there 2 or 3 years, because, we put them in there by talking to the top man, the cabinet officer, or the head of the agency, and we’d say, ‘This man is being placed here so that he can facilitate activities and so that he can retain the secrecy that’s required, and he will keep you informed at all times.’  Well, in the bureaucracy, the top people move faster than anybody else, not the bottom people, and so the man we had explained that to, maybe a year and a half earlier, would be transferred or leave the government, but, our man is still there, so, one or two cycles of that, and that agency might not even know that guy was there anymore, what his origins were, they would think he was just another one of their employees.  And, as a result, he became extremely effective, because if we wanted something done, I remember a very sensitive operation that I needed information from and I needed it from the FBI.  I didn’t go to the FBI.  I went to this guy that we had planted, he got it twice as fast and in a much better form than I would’ve gotten from the FBI, even though I was at that time working for the office of the Secretary of Defense.  We had no trouble working with the FBI, it was just to facilitate it.  These people became very very adept.  By the same token, people that were employees of the CIA, agents, were assigned even in the office of the secretary of defense.”  (21:27)

Let’s put it all together: anywhere from half to most of the high-ranking officials in US government are affiliated with the CFR; the CFR has supplied the head of the CIA throughout its history; the CIA employs a process of embedding operatives throughout governmental agencies that over the course of years hides the fact that the operatives are even there.  When you combine the outright and covert presences of the CFR throughout American government, it is at the very least valid to question whether the CFR is part of an invisible governmental body which puppeteers America’s public bodies of government.

By the way, President Barack Obama has admitted to speaking before the CFR and in his own words, is unsure of whether he’s an official member or not.

Back to Perloff – he continues by taking about the United Nations is the world’s successor to the League of Nations.  Perloff says public school students are told “Here’s how it got started: after World War II, all of the nations of the world were really sick of war, so they decided to get together and form an organization that would stop war.”  Of course, Perloff says the real story behind the UN is different.  It started as an informal group within the CFR called the Informal Agenda Group, then CFR members presented it to President Roosevelt, who announced the initiative the same day and made it a priority, and when it was finally founded in 1945, 47 of the member delegates were CFR members.

Perloff says the Marshall Plan, which was the postwar plan to help Europe, was not authored by George Marshall but instead by a study group within the CFR chaired by David Rockefeller.  In 1947, CFR member John J McCloy turned over unlimited Marshall Plan funds to Europe toward the building a movement in Europe toward a European Union (EU).  Perloff says this money was used for starting the movement, hosting the first Council of Europe meeting in 1949, founding universities which advocated a European Union, and funding the political campaigns of politicians who supported an EU.  Coalitions of European countries existed under various names until the European Union started under its official name in 1993, and the Eurozone’s own monetary currency was introduced in coins and bills in 2002.

Perloff also explains that although the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank officially started at Bretton Woods in 1944, their foundations were laid by the CFR’s economic and finance group.  Perloff concludes, “The CFR is a factory of foreign policy, but how many people knew it exists?”  Perloff says that although the IMF is seen as a charitable endeavor, it’s a loan-guarantee scheme.  He paraphrases Senator Jesse Helms:

“The New York banks have found important profit centers in lending to countries plunged in debt.  This has been an essentially riskless game for the banks because the IMF and World Bank have stood ready to bail the banks out with our taxpayer’s money.”

Perloff says it’s not just about profit.  The funds loan to countries who are in trouble in return for things like regime changes or more of their natural resources for the benefit of US-based multi-national corporations.

Then Perloff brings his discussion back to the Vietnam war, and he evokes Norman Dodd by saying that “Nothing did more to change the cultural landscape in America more than the Vietnam War.”

He talks about ways that the US officials posed as if they were interested in getting out of the war, but actually took measures to extend it.  Perloff says that the American Secretary of Defense, Robert MacNamara, was only allowing the Air Force to bomb 6% of the their desired targets.  The war’s Rules of Engagement were declassified in 1985, and the public became aware that American fighters could not bomb an enemy fighter plane on the ground, they had to wait until it was in the air; they couldn’t shoot at an enemy until the enemy shot first; they couldn’t bomb a surface to air missile site until it was operational.   Partially due to these handicapping Rules of Engagement, the Vietnam War lasted 20 years, from 1955 to 1975.

Perloff explains that President John F. Kennedy’s first commitment to send troops to Vietnam was upon the advice of CFR member Walter Rostow.  Rostow’s family was littered with communist ties, and Perloff says Rostow could only be hired by the government after the Head of the Defense Department had been fired.  Perloff quotes Rostow, a year before giving Kennedy the advice regarding Vietnam:

“It is a legitimate American national objective to see removed from all nations – including the United States – the right to use substantial military force to pursue their own interests.  Since this right is the root of national sovereignty, it is therefore an American interest to see an end to nationhood as it has been historically defined.”

Perloff also says that President Lyndon Johnson’s decision to escalate the Vietnam War was the result of a meeting of 14 advisors, 12 of whom were CFR members.  The leader of the group was Dean Acheson, who was Joseph Stalin’s New York attorney, and whose law partner was the brother of a Soviet spy.  Perloff says that when Acheson was in the State Department, his staff consisted of 14 members of the US Communist Party.

Perloff says that the Establishment’s publicly-stated agenda is Peace and Prosperity, which is often carried out through multinational peace agreements, but which is also being pursued through the war on terror.

Some of the multinational peace agreements Perloff shows as illustrations are: GATT, the FTAA, the SPP, and NAFTA.  Perloff says that the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) give us cheap slave labor imports by circumventing tariffs.  Perloff says the WTO was formed by the GATT Treaty in a manner that left Africa with 35 votes and the US with just 1.  Our goods are kept out of other countries, while we are forced to accept theirs, and the US taxpayer foots the bill for the WTO.  Perloff quips, “The founding fathers would call that taxation without representation.”

Perloff says the GATT Treaty was forced on us from above.  He says that a proponent of the GATT treaty testified that if America didn’t ratify the treaty, the markets would react adversely.  The same day, Alan Greenspan unexpectedly raised short term interest rates three quarters of a point, and the stock markets crashed for four days.  Perloff says Bob Dole raced to the White House and told President Clinton Congress would support the treaty, after which the stock market stabilized.

Perloff then quotes Senator Earnest Hollings, who Chaired the hearings on the GATT Treaty: “It’s not about jobs, it’s about money!  Well, they’re getting rich and we’re losing jobs.  They are debilitating and destroying us!”

Perloff illustrates the way that shadow government insiders come right out and announce the true intentions behind these kinds of initiatives, although Americans, being unaware of the context and coding of these statements, miss the point.  Perloff quotes Henry Kissenger, who said that NAFTA “will represent the most creative step toward a new world order taken by any group of countries since the end of the Cold War.”

If you are unaware of the phrase ‘New World Order,’ well first of all, where have you been?  The phrase is part of the code that invisible government insiders publicly use when they speak to one another.  The Jason Bermas/Alex Jones documentary Invisible Empire: A New World Order Defined documents the countless times world leaders such as George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Henry Kissinger, and many others have spoken about pursuing a New World Order or other variants of that phrase.  The book 9/11 The Secret War by David Dionisi regularly refers to the New World Order or NWO as a group of people, and argues that this group of people organized and carried out the 9/11 attacks.

To me, the phrase is purposely used in an ambiguous fashion as part of the code with which the globalists keep their imperialist agendas disguised from the general public.  From the times that I’ve seen the phrase used, I believe that the phrase describes the end-goal of the globalist empire, which is a single world government and full control of people’s everyday lives.

Perloff quotes David Rockefeller using the phrase while talking about NAFTA.  Rockefeller said, “Everything is in place – after 500 years – to build a true ‘new world’  in the Western Hemisphere.”

Perloff quotes Andrew Reding, who wrote in World Policy that:

“NAFTA will signal the formation, however tentatively, of a new political unit – North America.  With economic regulation will come political integration.  By whatever name, this is an incipient form of international government.  Following the lead of the Europeans, North Americans should begin considering formation of a continental Parliament.”

Perloff also says that there’s a connection between the above trade agreements and the war on terror.  Some of same people who have used terrorist fears to call for stricter measures to protect the homeland also want to harness these fears to join the US more closely with Canada and Mexico.  Perloff quotes Robert Pastor’s article in the CFR’s journal Foreign Affairs investigating ways to link the war on terror to the consolidation of international governments:

“Security fears serve as a catalyst for deeper integration.  That would require new structures to assure mutual security… The Department of Homeland Security should expand its mission to include continental security – a shift best achieved by incorporating Mexican and Canadian perspectives and personnel into its design and operation.”

Perloff then discusses President George W. Bush infrequently-discussed endorsement of the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) with the leaders of Canada and Mexico in 2005.  Perloff quotes Lou Dobbs, who said on CNN in 2006 that:

“President Bush signed a formal agreement that will end the United States as we know it, and he took the step without approval from either the US Congress or the people of the United States.”

Perloff says is part of a strategically-slow consolidation of national governments, which is in line with the ideology of Joseph Stalin, who wrote:

“Populations will more readily abandon their national loyalties to a vague regional loyalty than they will to a world authority.  Later, the regionals can be brought all the way to a single dictatorship.”

Perloff quotes Zbigniew Brzezinski, who was a formal advisor to Jimmy Carter, but who has played a behind-the-scenes role in both Bush presidencies and and Obama’s presidency.  Brzezinski said, “We cannot leap into world government in one quick step.  The precondition for genuine globalization is progressive regionalization.”

One idea that was difficult for me to digest was Perloff’s belief that the globalists want an end to American nationhood.  Common sense will tell you that the most powerful people in America want America to be the world’s premier country, and to successfully compete against other superpowers like China and Russia.  What Perloff and many others believe is that the dissolution of American sovereignty is the next level beyond US domination of other superpowers.  In order to establish a world government, all of the countries of the world would need to give up their own national identities in order to join this global entity.  If the US is the most powerful world player at the moment of this transition, then it will be the bigger fish that essentially swallows up the other countries.  This is an alternative to classical imperialism, where a country simply takes over another country by virtue of military strength.

Perloff then begins discussing the media, saying “You better believe that an establishment that’s powerful enough to control our government and our banks is also powerful enough to run the media.”

Perloff explains that in the 19th century, the Rothschilds sent an agent to New York, and that he and J.P. Morgan put up the money for the agent to buy a small newspaper, called The New York Times.  Perloff says that over the years, ownership of The New York Times consistently passed from the hands of one CFR member to another, and that its editorial history has consistently backed the views of the CFR.

According to Perloff, every major current-day movie studio, radio & TV network, magazine, newspaper, and publisher  “interlocks at the top with CFR ownership.”

The same group of people who have been using public manipulation to carry out an undercover agenda to move the world toward a single governmental system also own the media outlets who should blow the whistle on this type of corruption.  With the censorship that has resulted in most Americans being largely unaware of the goals of the CFR, it is very surprising that globalist elites often speak overtly about their efforts.  Perloff ends his lecture with a quote from David Rockefeller in 1991 which illustrates the solid connection between the invisible government and the mainstream media:

“We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine, and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years.  It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years.  But the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government which will never again know war but only peace and prosperity.”

The ways in which the attacks of 9/11 would benefit the globalists are numerous.  The wars that they see as a way to facilitate broad societal change seem to coincidentally center around countries which happen to lie along the powerful pipelines which dominate control of most of the world’s oil supply.  Truth seekers who involve themselves in serious research of these kinds of events consistently find that investigating 9/11 and investigating globalist organizations both seem to bring you toward the same few people.

The same names continue to come  up – names like Henry Kissinger, Zbigniew Brzezinski, George Soros, Maurice Greenberg, and others.  Perhaps the biggest name in any discussion of the invisible government is Henry Kissinger.  Henry Kissinger is a historical figure in American government who has assisted presidents in official and unofficial capacities from the Nixon administration to the present day.  The opening to Wikipedia’s profile on Henry Kissinger says that he:

“is a German-born American writer, political scientist, diplomat, and businessman.  A recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, he served as National Security Advisor and later concurrently as Secretary of State in the administrations of Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. After his term, his opinion was still sought by many subsequent presidents and many world leaders…

Kissinger is still a controversial figure today. He is the founder and chairman of Kissinger Associates, an international consulting firm consulting firm.”

Wikipedia vaguely discusses Kissinger’s controversial role in American history as an international player in governmental oustings, coups and other types of black operations.

Kissinger is an honored member of the CFR.  On their website’s description of a position it holds called The Henry A Kissinger Chair in National Security and European Studies, the CFR describes its relationship with Kissinger thus:

“Dr. Kissinger’s long association with the Council began in the mid-1950s when, as a young scholar, he took a year’s leave from the Harvard faculty to work at the Harold Pratt House as a Carnegie Research Fellow directing a study group which focused on the impact of revolutionary changes in weapons on American foreign policy. The resulting book, Nuclear Weapons and Foreign Policy, published in 1957, earned him a national reputation and reached the best seller list. Dr. Kissinger went on to publish 12 articles in Foreign Affairs before he entered government as President Nixon’s national security advisor in 1969.”

Author David Dionisi describes Henry Kissinger as “one of the NWO’s (New World Order’s) most visible agents.” (pg 109)

Kissinger’s name comes up a great deal in 9/11 truth pursuits.  Countless 9/11 investigators are very skeptical about a family of companies whose directors and chairmen, a list to which Kissenger belongs, own a complex web of overlapping and interlocking ownership shares.  AIG is one of those companies.  It reached its powerful stature with ex-CEO and CFR titan Maurice Greenberg at the healm.  Over decades, Greenberg and AIG’s actions have overlapped in complex ways with the American intelligence apparatus.  The Blackstone Group is also tied in this network of companies, and Blackstone Real Estate Partners was the owner of the mortgage to the World Trade Center during 9/11.  Kroll Associates is another company in this network, and they are often referred to as a private arm of the CIA.  This company was in charge of security of the World Trade Center, and had insider access to the buildings to the WTC buildings before the attacks.

Finally, Kissinger Associates is also involved in this network of companies via overlapping ownership interests.  The activities of the company are notoriously secretive, and few people actually know what the company does.  The company provides consulting services to international countries and corporations, and its client list is top secret.  It is widely believed that Kissinger Associates has worked extensively on negotiating the major Middle Eastern oil pipelines.

A Long life Native American activist known as Splitting the Sky quoted the website of the Blackstone Group, which said,

“The Blackstone group a partner with Kissinger Associates and AIG from February 2000 onward.  We at Blackstone very much look forward to working with Kissinger Associates and AIG and capitalizing on those relationships.”

Splitting the Sky says that his ever-complex financial investigation of a set of 38 companies known to have benefitted from apparent insider-knowledge based ‘put stock option trading’ prior to 9/11 led him to Kissinger and his associates.  Although neither Splitting the Sky nor anyone else has access to physical evidence proving physical guilt, Splitting the Sky says the endless number of coincidences consistently coming back to the same few people and their network of companies has left him certain of the culprits:

“those towers came down as a result of agents within Kroll, agents within the Mossad, agents within the CIA, agents within the SAS, agents within the ISI of Pakistan, I’m telling you, they brought ‘em down systemically to do just what they did, because the head of Kissinger, Henry Kissinger himself, was the one that was negotiating the pipelines throughout Afghanistan, and they needed an excuse to get in there to control the gas, the oil, as well as the opium plantations.”

The organization We Are Change approached James Perloff and asked him his opinion on the possible masterminds behind 9/11.  He said the following:

“I should mention, my opinions are just my opinions… I did speak to the John Birch Society and officially they take a position that more leans towards that there was intelligence oversights that led to 9-1-1.  I tend to lean more toward the government itself having been involved, and I say this because there are a lot of holes in the government’s explanation.  The fact that, the buildings seemed to violate the laws of physics, but, when something falls down, it follows the path of least resistance, so this pencil (drops a pencil) will not fall through my hand, it will fall off to the side.  The tops of the buildings should have tilted more to the side, and not gone through the steel frame structures the way that they did.  They fell at the speed of gravity.   Building number seven which was never even hit by a plane collapsed at the speed of gravity, and there were no planes defending Washington 38 minutes after the second building had been hit, when the pentagon was attacked, they should have been up in the air.  The slow response of that plus a number of other holes in the government’s explanation, tends to make me fear that 9-1-1 was an operation designed to bring about homeland security, heightened impositions on our freedoms, and a surveillance state, as well as wars abroad, in a nutshell.  …  I do believe that 9-1-1 fits the pattern of artificially created crisis to create a war psychosis or a security psychosis that will take them to the next step of control.” (ref)

I am not claiming that I have evidence that directly ties any particular tax-exempt organization to 9/11.  Nor do I feel that all discussions of corruption or invisible power should end at 9/11.  I assert that the CFR is an example of an extremely powerful organization which, over its long history, has made its objectives toward a one-world governmental system and the dissolution of American sovereignty very clear.  The group has also publicly theorized regarding a process of global regionalization toward that objective, a process which many believe is in its end-stages.  It is also clear that these goals were dramatically advanced by the political environment in the United States after 9/11.

It is intentionally difficult to find specific connections which link any particular organization to a possible covert role in organizing a 9/11 inside job, and in my opinion, this is by design.  The trail of corporations with links to 9/11 that deserve investigation is seemingly never-ending.  For instance, one connection which has never been offiically investigated is that George W. Bush’s brother, Marvin Bush, was on the Board of Directors of a company called Securacom that handled security for Dulles International Airport on 9/11 (ref.) .  Dulles was the airport which Flight 77 took off from on 9/11.

Similarly, the list of purportedly charitable organizations with a track record of supporting globalist endeavors is equally complex and worthy of investigation.  An important group in this regard is the neo-conservative think tank, Project for a New American Century (PNAC).  Sourcewatch says that many PNAC members held high positions within the George W. Bush administration (ref) .  A September 2000 document by the group entitled Rebuilding America’s Defenses is widely quoted within the Progressive community.  The document called for repositioning America’s military dominance by defending our homeland (and it was written prior to 9/11), improving our nuclear capabilities, and fighting multiple theater wars.  Its most widely quoted passage is as follows:

“Further, the process of transformation, even if ti brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor.”

Sourcewatch quotes William Rivers Pitt, who discusses the manner in which PNAC advocated the use of an attack against the US, and then capitalized on the aftermath of the attack itself:

“Two events brought PNAC into the mainstream of American government: the disputed election of George W. Bush and the attacks of September 11th. When Bush assumed the Presidency, the men who created and nurtured the imperial dreams of PNAC became the men who run the Pentagon, the Defense Department and the White House. When the Towers came down, these men saw, at long last, their chance to turn their White Papers into substantive policy.”

Of course, the policy Pitt refers to includes the Patriot Act and related measures which have used 9/11 as a motive to restrict civil liberties under the premise of heightened security measures.  Whether these infringements are part of an ulterior motive aimed at paving a path toward globalist goals is still up for debate.

The mechanics of the true power that has seemingly always functioned behind the scenes in American government is only recently being understood by the public.  The overlapping web of organizations and corporations which have an interest in manipulating the public, going to war, creating financial turmoil, and capitalizing on these events, is difficult to follow or even list.  Nevertheless, the digital age has made information so available that the most insightful among us, absent evidence and through a clever smokescreen, still understand the agenda that is being carried out.  Although pursuing finality and closure on the events of the recent past is helpful, it does not change the big picture, and the global agenda continues to march on.  Equally important as solving the mysteries of the past are the tasks of understand and preparing for the future.
